Develop and coordinate creative strategies that support marketing plans, publications, and communication. Design visual elements in email, online, social media, and direct mail campaigns. Serve as lead project manager for creative services and ensure on-time and impactful execution of creative projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Research, design, and develop creative visual content and branded promotional materials for email, online, social media, and direct mail campaigns designed to recruit and yield students for Denison's academic programs.
Present design concepts and assist in content development for campaigns that enhance communication between prospects and the Enrollment Management team.
Take ownership of creative projects and ensure on-time, quality execution. Work within tight deadlines and balance multiple projects at the same time. Initiate and maintain clear communication with project partners, coordinate project scope and deadlines, and problem-solve.
Work with University Communications to ensure full coordination of marketing and communications-related activities and to manage and regularly maintain website and social media content.
Oversee the work of creative contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Research market trends and competitors, and stay up to date on current web, email, social media, print, and viral marketing trends.
Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external partners. Act as a professional representative of the university.
Assist the Director of Enrollment Strategy with ongoing projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
Innovative mindset with excellent communication skills.
Experience in graphic design and project management.
Demonstrated creative design experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work in a high stress, deadline-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and respond successfully as needed in a time sensitive environment. Strong time management and organization skills. Ability and commitment to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
Experience working in communications, marketing, or graphic design, or in a college admission office as a student employee or professional staff member.
Clear understanding and ability to communicate the values and mission of a residential, liberal arts college.
