Project Manager (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts ): works as a part of the Finance Risk Infrastructure and Business Solutions (FRIBS) team and participates in complex regulatory driven cross-organizational projects related to Treasury functions. The individual would play the role of a project manager and Axiom product owner in the re-engineering and implementation of the highly complex liquidity report - FR 2052a (Complex Institution Liquidity monitoring report) in Axiom. The individual will be the go-to subject matter expert (SME) for Liquidity reporting, and will work in collaboration with various groups and project teams across the bank. The individual will also drive Change Management and Control framework enhancements leveraging automation wherever possible in the Axiom implementation project. Specific duties include: Planning and building the Regulatory Reporting implementation and automation roadmap for State Street, to fulfill the Federal Reserve Bank's (FRB) daily Liquidity Reporting (FR 2052a - Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report) requirements; designing the business architecture and reporting solution in Axiom Controller view reporting automation tool, in line with the FED published rules and regulations; a cting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in regulatory reporting and system automation, interpreting the Regulations and Policies published by the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and other Banking and Financial Regulators and determine their implications for State Street and its subsidiaries across its business lines and product lines globally as applicable to the work on hand; determining applicability of the published policy and regulations for each of State Street Bank's lines of business and product lines across the bank's Global business locations; formalizing the business requirements and functional specifications based on the policy and guidelines published by the Regulator; ensuring that the automation of the FR 2052a - 'Complex Institution Liquidity Monitoring Report' is as per industry standards and guidelines with a suitably designed framework to support daily reporting to the Federal Reserve Bank; r eviewing the detailed end-to-end implementation in Axiom - including key configuration components and structural objects, un-aggregated and aggregated data, profiling checks and lineage as a pre-requisite for solution finalization and reporting to the Federal Reserve Bank; defining and designing the Governance Framework and Data Quality standards for the automated report so as to ensure Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) mandated compliance standards; and reporting progress on automation and implementation to various committees and senior leadership within the Bank and ensuring its timely completion.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's Degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Engineering, or related field; 7 years of experience in regulatory reporting implementation and automation, or Banking transformation and cross functional projects for Banks or large financial institutions; and 3 years of hands-on Axiom controller view experience in US Regulatory Reporting implementation for Financial reporting for US Banks and 3 years of hands on experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis.
Must have: Proven understanding and knowledge of the Regulatory Reporting automation tool - Axiom 'Controller View'; demonstrated understanding in Bank Accounting and Banking Regulations & Supervision, and understand nuances of areas such as Asset Liability Management, Treasury Operations and basics of Risk Management; proven ability to design solutions and implementation of Regulatory Reports in Axiom controller view; demonstrated experience formulating requirements for complex regulations related to Financial and Liquidity Reporting; demonstrated experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for day-to-day data analysis and data assessment; demonstrated experience working across various Financial Products applicable to Banks; demonstrated experience in leading large cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert and functional expert across various financial products and processes for Regulatory Reporting; strong interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills and a high proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; demonstrated experience working on Banking technology products or platforms like Core Banking solutions (Temenos T24, Flexcube, Finacle, Loan IQ, Broadridge etc.) or BI tools like Hadoop, etc.; demonstrated experience in implementation or automation of Liquidity Reports in Banks; proven experience worked across the different phases of Regulatory Reporting implementation cycles within Axiom, stretching across requirements gathering, solution implementation, User Acceptance testing and post production support; and demonstrated experience in planning large scale implementation projects for Regulatory Reporting automation or implementations, across various types of Financial Regulations.
