The School of Dentistry invites applicants for a full-time Graduate Program director as a Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the Division of Prosthodontics.

Primary responsibilities of this role include clinical supervision for the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics, course directing and participation in resident didactic courses, and possible course directing and providing lectures for one or more courses in the predoctoral DDS program, provision of on-call services and participation on the School of Dentistry committees and governance. This person will work and partner with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students to provide a positive environment in which to maintain and grow the Division of Prosthodontics.
The successful candidate will be an experienced clinician with academic experience in teaching and scholarly work, who will have clinical and didactic responsibilities in Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics as well as the pre-doctoral clinical education program. They must be committed to teaching and developing our predoctoral students, residents and with dedication and commitment to providing full scope quality care and service to patients.
DDS, DMD or equivalent degree
Completion of an accredited advanced education training program in Prosthodontics (from a U.S. or Canadian CODA approved program)
Board Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics or will be Board Certified by the position start date
MS, PhD, or other advanced degree or evidence of significant research experience, publications, and grant applications
Minnesota dental license or eligible for Minnesota dental license by start date (a Full Faculty License may be obtained in partnership with the School of Dentistry prior to start date if needed)
Proof of authorization to work in the United States by start of position
Proven dedication to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others
Dedicated and committed to a career in academia and in teaching and mentoring students
Experience (Full-time desirable) providing patient care and supervision in an academic setting
Experience in Prosthodontics in private or faculty practice
Experience with implant surgery, digital dentistry, and esthetic dentistry
Demonstrated history of quality clinical and didactic teaching with predoctoral students and/or Prosthodontic residents or fellows
Demonstrated history of scholarly work and thesis process
Active participation or leadership in professional organizations
