PT Small Animal Veterinarian Needed for Newly Rebuilt Animal Hospital in Chicago's North Suburbs

Located in the near-north suburbs of Chicago (15 miles to the heart of downtown), Morton Grove Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital established in 1957 and completely rebuilt in 2017. We currently have 3 full-time veterinarians and a large and dedicated support staff providing the highest quality care to our long-standing and dedicated clientele. As our practice continues to quickly grow, it is now time to add another part-time veterinarian to our team focused family so that we may continue to provide our exceptional level of sick and well care for dogs, cats and pocket pets alike.

The outgoing, self-motivated, positive, friendly, preventative medicine focused individual we select will need to work well in a highly team oriented environment where we will all succeed together in providing the highest level of care for all of our patients. Other Requirements include:

• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Illinois
• Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with people at their best and worst moments
• Internal medicine as well as basic surgical skills, we are willing to mentor and train the right individual
• Service oriented and willing to develop long-term relationships with our clients and patients
