PhD (or advanced ABD with degree conferral expected by December 2020) in Rhetoric and Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition, or Professional and Technical Writing; an active research profile in rhetoric and writing; a minimum of one year of professional or technical writing experience preferred; and a minimum of two years of teaching excellence required, including online instruction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a recipient of the CCCC Writing Program Certificate of Excellence, the program seeks candidates with an interest in innovative curriculum development that can complement existing expertise and serve the newly created program's overall mission and vision at the undergraduate and graduate levels. This position is a three-year, renewable contract. Teaching load is 4/4. Additional summer teaching opportunities are available but not required. Candidates must be willing and able to teach online courses.
