Market Job Description
This role provides Program Management, Subject Matter Expertise and leadership for the International Talent Acquisition team (all hiring outside of the U.S.) around recruiting initiatives, business processes, technology enablement, and HR policy application. There will be an emphasis on consistent and effective execution across the international recruiting organization; ensuring there is alignment with the wider Enterprise team where appropriate to drive single global solutions. This position also provides consultation and expertise on the effective application of corporate policies, with particular emphasis on risk mitigation and background screening for recruiting; as well as being a key resource to ensure audit readiness and execution of the end to end recruiting workflow, including but not limited to sourcing, posting, selection process/tools, offers, background check requirements, and onboarding. This role provides leadership in project management, implementation and change readiness, technology design, and will also involve the supervision and/or line management of more junior Team Members within the Business Planning & Execution team. The role reports to the Operations & Infrastructure Leader for International Talent Acquisition.
The role holder will be responsible for being the primary point of contact for queries relating to the application and alignment of our Global Background Screening Policy; acting as the liaison between the background screening team and the business for re-screening initiatives and any activities that require consultation or activity related to the global policy and its application in all international regions
Defines, implements, and manages improvements to the international recruitment process, ensuring consistent execution worldwide
Defines, implements, and manages all recruiting related policies in alignment with business and HR strategies, and in accordance to all governing laws and regulations across all regions
Sets and tracks recruitment process outcomes including costs, efficiency, and quality
Benchmarks Wells Fargo international recruitment results against industry standards and reports outcome to key stakeholders
Partners closely with regional talent acquisition teams and the enterprise teams to identify key successes and areas of improvement
Ensures alignment of all policies, projects, processes, and programs with business priorities and HR function strategies
Develops detailed & actionable project plans to drive success in strategic business hiring initiatives
Partner with the recruitment technology support team to better enable a more automated and efficient recruitment process internationally
Leads programs and initiatives across a global/international and geographically dispersed team of senior recruitment team members. Sets overall program initiatives and ensures timely and effective delivery.
Collaborates across international teams to drive program implementation, while liaising with the corporate/enterprise teams
Ensures alignment of program priorities with business and HR function strategies
Develops detailed & actionable project plans to drive success in strategic initiatives. Monitors progress toward program strategies & goals. Ensures worldwide implementation of such strategies, programs, and processes.
Networks with industry peers to take advantage of best practices, ensuring Wells Fargo's international recruiting processes, policies, and selection tools are leading edge.
Market Skills and Certifications
In-depth experience of working within a large international recruiting department with direct experience in one or a combination of the following: recruitment process design & optimization, technology optimization, enablement, and /or implementation, project management, implementation, or strategic planning
Experience in change management and implementation readiness
Demonstrable evidence of delivering a wide range of HR initiatives and programs across multiple countries/regions in partnership with other functions/departments
Demonstrable evidence of the ability to influence change across a dynamic landscape of peers and senior stakeholders
Demonstrable evidence of forging strong business relationships across international borders and cross-functional teams
Experience in the creation and delivery of training and presentation materials
Knowledge of Wells Fargo recruitment process and businesses
In-depth knowledge of Wells Fargo recruitment policies
Knowledge of employment laws/regulations and application to the recruitment process
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced skills in use of Microsoft products such as Visio, Power Point, Excel, SharePoint
Technical writing and document management
Experience managing risk / Human Resource control function
Graduate degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business, HR, or related field.
