Successful candidate must have graduated from an appropriately accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and major course work in information systems or related field; considerable progressively responsible managerial experience in computer information technology. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prefer Master’s Degree and/or professional certification(s) such as Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) via UNC SOG, Comp TIA A+, Network +, Security + or equivalent and considerable experience in government sector. Driver’s license valid in NC and good driving record.

Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with qualifications, plus excellent benefits including acceptance of qualified transferred sick leave from other NC governmental entities and leave accrual rates based upon approved aggregate years of NC government qualified service. Salary range $80,000 - $160,000, with expected hiring rate dependent on qualifications.
