Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
The Wholesale Strategic Execution (WSE) team is responsible for driving multiple large-scale initiatives within and across Wholesale Banking. Examples include LIBOR transition, strategic and operational programs, business combinations and divestitures, and adoption of new and amended regulatory requirements.
The Program Manager will report to the Change Management Office Leader and be accountable for managing program routines and deliverables for strategic initiatives that address the needs of key stakeholders, including:
Implement business office processes and routines in partnership with strategic initiative leaders and program/project management for plan development, management and execution
Manage reporting routines to distill the key messages and drive transparency and visibility into initiative performance across program and executive stakeholders
Facilitate the governance structure and meeting cadence for all strategic initiatives to review, inform, and escalate as required; developing the program calendar with key stakeholders
Establish and monitor financial and resource management, analysis, and reporting routines at the initiative and workstream level to actively monitor run-rate and performance
The Program Manager must work well with ambiguity in a rapid-paced environment. Superior relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization is a requirement.
Leadership, integrity, capability and credibility will be key determining factors in candidate selection. Successful candidates will be articulate and be able to demonstrate strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Prior experience and track record working on large scale, operationally-intense transformation/transition initiatives across a wide range of functions, including business, finance, operations and technology
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
Exceptional ability to collaborate and consult with key business partners and translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood to drive decisions and meet business objectives
Experience providing reporting and updates to senior-level management
Solid understanding and experience with financial and resource management principles
Strong understanding and application of risk management principles
Ability to effectively balance creativity and pragmatism
Energetic contributor who is flexible, conscientious and has a demonstrated ability to work in unstructured environments
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
