Responsibilities The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of urgent projects that have significant organizational impact, including but not limited to the support of COVID-19. He/she will also manage large projects and programs that are linked to major goals defined in the organizational strategy. In addition, he/she develops the project management framework and provides supervision, guidance and day-to-day direction to project managers and business analysts ensuring that projects are well managed and adhere to appropriate standards and governance. Also acts as business partner between the IT groups, lines of business and other stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and execute the IT portfolio.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or a related discipline with an information technology focus.
Project Management or Process Improvement certification, i.e.: PMP (Project Management Professional), CSSGB (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt), or equivalent.
Expert in all phases and components of project management with the ability to direct programs with organization-wide impact.
Demonstrated experience developing and formulating strategies, and administering policies, processes and resources.
Demonstrated experience leading IT strategic planning and governance initiatives.
Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis functions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others. Fosters relationships and effectively collaborates with all levels of a diverse body of leaders, physicians, researchers, administrators, and staff employees.
Proven leadership; lead, direct, mentor, train, and motivate other project managers and/or cross-functional project teams by fostering team spirit, an attitude of cooperation, and a commitment to the organization.
Self-motivated and focused on the goals and deliverables of the organization and the IT division and is always working to deliver and support these goals.
Sophisticated problem-solving skills to effectively define and address daily challenges and deliver assignments in a high pressure constantly changing executive level environment.
Highly organized and focused on critical deadlines; review and prioritize workload.
Expert in building credibility, trust, and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside of the organization.
Master's degree in business, information systems, or equivalent related program management experience.
