Essential Functions: Building Healthy Communities 2020-2021Coordinate and schedule research interventions in elementary schools; Supervise and direct healthy school research coordinators;Collect, manage, and analyze research data and draft research/evaluation reports;Maintain productive communication with K-5 school intervention specialists, including principals, school grant leaders, classroom teachers, healthy kids club leaders, recess supervisors, student leadership team leaders and PE teachers;Assist in planning and implementation of research events at K-5 schools;Represent the research project at school-based meetings and other functions; andMeet weekly with the research manager.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in health and/or K-12 education (P.E., nutrition, public health, teaching);Experience managing research personnel in education settings;Experience implementing health-related programs in K-12 schools;Experience with program evaluation;Strong organization and project management skills;Excellent communication skills and professionalism; Ability to work productively and effectively both as a member of a team and individually; andProficient with mobile, desktop, and communication technologies.
