Job Description - Serve as a key contact for collaborations and communications between the Field Medical Affairs (FMA), OAPI Medical Affairs and other key internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Compliance, HR, key vendors, etc). - Accountable for the FMA budgetary process which includes coordination and management of resources and budgets. Works with Finance to oversee department's operational budget including preparation of annual budget, monthly projections, accruals, and variance analysis. - Oversees FMA information technology and training resources, including websites, CRM software as well as the development of FMA's needs assessments solicitation of vendor proposals, implementation plans and execution. - Builds and sustains extensive home office network across multiple functions (Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets, Medical,) representing FMA on cross-functional teams as needed. - Develops and implements new processes and policies to facilitate department management. Identifies areas for improvement and implements changes across all MSL teams. - Able to work effectively with cross functional team members to provide primary support to FMA while assisting with broader needs of the Medical Affairs organization. Responsible for design and implementation of all national and regional meetings in support of FMA. Makes recommendations to Sr. Director, Field Medical Affairs, for broader organization meeting content and execution. - Oversee FMA communications ensuring timely and clear delivery as well as implements communication vehicles for streamlining team communication including standardized reports and website updates across all MSL teams. - Establishes expectation and standards and accountability measurement tools for the FMA team by developing capacity models, analytic tools, and evaluation techniques. - Oversees project management for all FMA operations projects including Performance and Assessment, development of Standard Operating Procedures, Compliance updates and presentations as needed by FMA.
- Bachelors Degree with M.B.A. strongly preferred - Minimum of 5-7 years operations experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare industry - A strong working knowledge of business processes, including strategic planning and budgeting is highly desirable - The candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management and of leading cross functional teams to execute strategies through direct and indirect influence. - Candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, excellent organizational/time management skills and be able to collaborate and align with diverse, cross-functional teams.
