The Applications Development Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Bachelorâ€™s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Masterâ€™s degree preferred
As a TTS Operations Technology Imaging and Workflow Delivery Head , the prospect will first and foremost be responsible for delivering value to our clients and business through the strategic technology solutions in Imaging and Workflow area.
This prospect will support and/or lead large-scale Imaging and Workflow transformation/automation initiatives that address business and client challenges.
This prospect will work with the business and Operations to think out of box, reimagine our current Imaging automation, user stories, develop and implement new solutions, Imaging Workflow models to provide increased Operations productivity and Client experience
Partner with internal stakeholders such as business units, service centers, payment ops, etc.. to understand their needs and collaborate with users for solution planning, integration and execution
The prospect will also review current IT landscape in client services area and bring in new innovative technology tools from market that allow TTS to build and roll-out solutions faster and efficiently
This implies efficient planning, strong stakeholder management, risk, change, Budgets management and completion of initiatives with a focus on maximizing value creation for the business and our clients
Bachelors' degree in Engineering or a related field
10 years experience leading imaging and workflow transformation strategies in complex matrix environments
Ability to push an agenda in a matrix environment through influencing and collaboration
Demonstrate strong business acumen and aptitude to problem solving
Experience in defining and executing client experience driven transformations
Ability to understand the infrastructure requirements of Imaging Workflow automation, Operations Automation and business intelligence
Manage ImagingÂ Workflow initiatives, which may include ideation, system formulation, project initiation, project execution and delivery
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team operating at the intersection of business, design and digital technologies
Proven ability to work effectively with virtual teams across different time zones
