This role is a Dev/Ops Developer role that will engage in implementing sound process design, creative and clean code, thorough unit testing and high performing implementations. This role supports a common deployment interface to multiple Pega-based claims systems and Java applications. These systems are used by multiple internal teams within Wells Fargo's Operations organization.  It supports customer claim processing for fraud and non fraud requests. This platform is used by over 4,000 internal users. 

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best development practices that lead to a stable production environment, good knowledge of relevant development and monitoring tools, and the ability to work with project managers and line of business support teams when required. This is a very challenging environment. 

Candidates will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• As a senior developer, you will design, develop and unit test automated deployment solutions for both Pega and Java based code changes without a great deal of guidance.  
• Participate in requirement, design discussions, and come up with solution according to functional specifications.
• As an SME, needs to understand complex business requirements and processes through effective analysis which includes working with other SME's, architects, business/technology partners to come up with solution. 
• Translate highly complex business requirements into technical solutions through efficient design and using appropriate tools and technologies 
• Provides support for overall systems testing and implementation into production 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
• Understand SDLC processes and standards to ensure production changes that adhere to all compliance aspects that support 'Safety and Soundness' of the application.
• Troubleshooting production issues and solution implementation.  Provide on-call support as required.
• Work closely with administrators, architects, and other support teams to ensure applications are performing well and within agreed upon SLAs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.

• 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
• 5+ years of Pega experience
• 5+ years of JavaEE experience
• 5+ years of DevOps experience

• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 5+ years of Pega experience
• 3+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
• 1+ year of SAST (Static Application Security Testing) experience
• 2+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
• 2 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server

• Pega certification CSA 7.4/8(Certified Systems Architect)
• Pac2000 experience
• JIRA tool that supports tracking and reporting for user stories.
• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
• Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
• Understanding of DAST compliance test processes and vulnerability remediation.
• Wells Fargo environment setup process to include the automated and build and deploy process.
• Pega work flow knowledge
• 5+ years of application production support experience
• Git or GitHub experience
• Knowledge and understanding of uDeploy
• Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
• Ability to positively influence, motivate, and help direct diverse teams in a shift based, decentralized, and geographically dispersed environment
• Ability to analyze business requirements and transform those requirements into business

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
