Capital Markets Business Analyst 2 - Senior Interest Rate Swaps Business Analyst
Macro Technology seeks a senior technical business analyst who can drive complex project deliveries. The individual will interact with multiple trading desks, assist in building out a product road map and work with the development team to execute. This individual will play the role of Scrum Master for an Agile development team.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Interacting with project sponsors and project managers regarding project requests and line of business priorities
Building Excel prototypes of pricing requirements leveraging internal quantitative libraries
Engaging developers to drive solution design, ensuring that proposals meet non-functional requirements and are consistent with the application architecture principles
Authoring user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Acting as Scrum Master within an Agile environment owning the backlog for the swap pricing product
Change management and release management for the project, ensuring all Wells Fargo SDLC policies are met
7+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
4+ years of experience in the capital markets and investment banking industry
6 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
5+ years of fixed Income experience
5+ years of derivatives experience
5+ years of Agile experience
3 + years of experience as a scrum master
3+ years of experience developing financial product pricing model prototypes using Microsoft Excel
Knowledge and understanding of technology business systems analysis or design in capital markets and investment banking
Knowledge and understanding of operational work flows/processes for capital markets and investment banking, including industry participants
Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations for developing technological solutions
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Ability to develop and manage business relationships
Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
Ability to facilitate design sessions
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: manage projects, coordinate and perform UAT/production testing
2+ years of Calypso technology experience
Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
