The Administrative Coordinator in the Program Operations team provides the day-to-day administrative support needed for all faculty/campus/student services within the portfolio of professional masters and corporate programs. The Administrative Coordinator also provides administrative support for SPS Directors and academic partners with additional support for events and services. The Program Operations team provides year-round administrative, logistical, and basic project management support for all aspects of professional masters and corporate programs, including alignment with Brown policies, implementation of SPS processes and workflow, development and update of program or project documentation, calendars, database maintenance, facilitation for travel, reimbursements, TAs and guests, classroom and media support, computing support and residential session logistics inclusive of hotels and catering needs.
. Major Responsibilities
General administrative support.
Program data collection, update and documentation
Submission and tracking of required forms and paperwork.
Assist with development and execution of events
Front desk reception during hosted events
Prioritizing daily workload
Exemplifying quality customer service for all constituencies
Identifying best tool or resource for the task
Organizing incoming communications to the team and responding when prudent
Residential sessions, commencement, and alumni activities may require extended evening and/or weekend hours.Â
Size and Scope of Position
Provide varying levels of support to faculty and staff
Over 200 students per year in professional programs; 50 faculty and teaching assistants
Interact with personnel from a variety of University offices, institutions, and corporations
Education and Experience:Â
Associates degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of related administrative experience, or equivalentÂ combination of education and work experience.
Experience in an academic or non-profit setting preferred.
Prior financial experience a plus
Excellent computing skills required (Complete working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required, andÂ Google products)Â

Ability to effectively multi-task; balance mission and resources.
Good analytical skills; strong problem-solving skills.
