It's an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargo's Enterprise Network Services organization. This application developer position will help shape and transform a current homegrown application in a full Microsoft stack used to track network-specific data related to asset management, certification, standards documentation, and operational reporting. In this role you will be responsible for owning the SDLC process for the application ensuring requested enhancements, reports, and bug fixes are deployed using agile methodologies. This system is extremely important as it expands further to support continued process improvement activities around automation, standardization, and scalability for network services. A high level of ownership and accountability will be critical in this role as will problem solving and creativity focused on continuous improvement.
The position will report into the Network Automation manager within the Enterprise Network Services organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Requirements gathering, design, development, test, release for application enhancements/fixes.
Ensuring adherence to all application and software development policies.
Performing regularly scheduled releases following standard testing and change management procedures.
Conducting data analysis for new and existing data source intake for potential use
7+ years of application development and implementation experience
7 + years of experience designing software solutions using software architecture design principles
7+ years of ASP.Net experience
5+ years of relational database experience
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
Ability to manage initiatives including: detailed planning, process management, and documentation
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
4+ years of MS SQL server experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience converting classic ASP to ASP.net
Experience with Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems
Familiarity with SD Elements, AutoSys, Connect:Direct (NDM), Visual Studio (2017), SQL Server Management Studio
Ability to work outside of regular business hours
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Ability to work additional hours as needed
