DESCRIPTION: Serving as a member of the University Registrar's Management Team, the Associate Registrar for Reporting and System Integration manages the accuracy, integrity, and security of all student academic records within the Student Information System while compiling, maintaining, and tracking student academic information and records for internal and external analysis, use, and reporting. Along with the Registrar, the Associate Registrar for Reporting and System Integration oversees the planning, designing, project management, and implementation of innovative technical solutions to further the service mission of the Registrar's Office.
Technology and Reporting liaison for Registrar's Office.
Manage, create, validate, and maintain all reports generated for Federal, external, and internal use from the Registrar's Office including NCS and IPEDS.
Work with external auditors for all Federal reporting handled by the Registrar's Office.
Manage the accuracy and integrity of the student data within the Student Information System - Colleague and the data warehouse.
Manage the accuracy and integrity of the student data being uploaded into the Student Information System- Colleague by external systems.
Streamline and improve the quality of processes using the technology available.
Supervising staff in the assigned area, including goal setting and training.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned or directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related professional experience in a similar position. Master's degree preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, managerial, organizational, and analytical skills and commitment to students and university. An in-depth knowledge of technical areas, including developing reports with data-mining and data-analytics tools. Experience in report writing from sources such as MS, SQL, and SAP Business Objects highly preferred. Candidate must possess well-developed motivational skills and ability to work independently in a multi-task oriented environment. Must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
