We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Senior Collection Manager- Wealth and Personal Banking.
Plan, direct and manage the end-to-end collection and recoveries on all AMH RBWM products
Delegate responsibilities for certain smaller entity oversight. To plan, direct and manage the Collection on all RBWM secured and unsecured products, which includes home mortgage loans (HML), Credit Cards, PIL, RCF, Investment Finance and secured and unsecured OD accounts
Direct and manage the Debt Work Out and Recoveries within the Collections Services to ensure that the team performs their duties of Debt Work Out and Recoveries process in timely, efficient and effective manner in order to optimize the collections and recoveries of all RBWM lending products bad debts
The team's goals are to help minimize the Bank's bad debt cost, minimize reputational risk by avoiding any inappropriate internal or external collection action and to provide debt restructuring solutions to assist customers in financial difficulties
Drive and manage Collections related transformation initiatives. Ensure workflow optimization in Collections
Oversee our offshore operations by setting up the SLA and monitoring mechanism
Assume the duty as Risk Control Owner and or Third Party Engagement Manager for our 3rd party Collections Agency
Ensure all collections processes are met our bank's Treat Customer Fair principal
Carry out and execute our global Credit Control Services guidelines in related to Collections
Assist Head of Collections in designing collection and recovery strategy formulation and procedure manual design
Drive and manage all collection system design with various stakeholders and coordinate business UAT activities
Monitor Collection relate KPI and Operation risk indicators and formulate action plans if necessary
University degree in an appropriate discipline
Proven record of effective management in a leadership role, including planning and decision making, identifying priorities and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion
Require broad experience within the banking and financial sector with specific retails and business banking experience and acknowledge in credit lending of mortgage products
Strong business understanding of debt collection and recoveries matters
Experience of managing staff resources in senior roles to achieve objectives using appropriate communication delegation and planning skills
Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales and quality of output
Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change oriented
Excellent written communication skills, ability to clearly document the current state and the recommendations
Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across different stakeholders in the Bank
Demonstrated experience in design and use of Management Information to drive process changes and inform decisions
Fluent in speaking English & Cantonese. Mandarin speaking is a plus
