On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Agile Product Owner with Private Banking experience, ideally on Client Onboarding projects.
Overview of the project:
The successful candidate would take part of the exciting onboarding program for International Wealth Management which aims to deliver a user centric, multi-channel solution that substantially simplifies the front-to-back processes around the lifecycle of a client relationship and enhances organizational efficiency.
This is achieved by implementing new modular and unified digital workflows. At the same time, they put strong emphasis on a unique user experience for their clients and RMs, which substantially decreases onboarding time and offers one consistent entry point for their diverse needs.
Act as a Product Owner within the client's digital onboarding program for International Wealth Management.
Representing business stakeholder and client needs for the process design and implementation
Defining features, epics and user stories and prioritizing them for agile development (Drive agile / scrum ceremonies).
Engaging with key stakeholders of Front Office, Tax, Regulatory, Operations, General Counsel and Compliance (and more)
Aligning the business analysis and requirements engineering in line with our agile delivery process.
Testing and approving / rejecting the implementation done by the scrum teams.
Management and conceptual set-up of end-to-end requirements from a business / client / user perspective.
Provide user documentation and training. Collect user feedback and prioritize for delivery.
Furthermore, the person will be involved in program management related activities, e.g. status reporting, adoption tracking, preparation of program related presentations / documents.
Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner within the banking industry
Experience in AML, client onboarding / lifecycle management, ideally in international private or corporate banking.
Experience with agile project & delivery management
Ability to deal with different cultures and locations (Onshore, Nearshore, Offshore).
Experience in either target operating model definition, business process re-engineering or business workflow implementation (preferably client-facing processes).
Demonstrated ability to leverage technology / digital solutions to design innovative and client-centric banking services / processes, bring them to life in an agile setup, and continuously drive client adoption and satisfaction.
Analytical and critical mind-set in order to challenge and improve existing processes.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, the ability to influence others without having formal power, and being able to stand your ground also in difficult situations.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
Knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, and experience with Visio is a plus.
