This position will provide operational support and stability with proactive management for endpoint access services to include mobility and VPN support. Deliver all services consistent with internal support objectives and customer Service Level Agreements. This position will be responsible for line of business and cross-function team partnership and end user troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with large scale enterprise and multi-site geographically load balance solutions. In addition to a positive customer service attitude, this position is expected to perform system configuration, change management and troubleshooting within a complex network environment including technical documentation.
Responsible for maintaining and optimization of robust, scalable, highly-automated and secure technical solutions in the area of VPN Network and Pulse Secure infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge in DNS and DHCP concepts.
Participate in testing and implementation of emerging data access control technologies, troubleshooting information systems security issues and enforcing safeguarding techniques.
Develop help-desk and end user documentation and build operational processes based on enterprise risk management best practices.
Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) SPLUNK products. Responsible for monitoring and reporting critical alerts and incidents.
Support the team member on the pre-requisites for approving change, problem and incidents.
Good experience in Agile project management.
Coordinate with vendor and resolve reported issues, upgrade patch or Pulse Secure Firmware as per the release.
Responsible for validating and removing expired server certificates from Pulse Secure devices
Responsible for performing pre and post CR validation
Engineer will be part of the on call support team on rotation.
Market Skills and Certifications
B.Tech /B.E. in any specialization or Bachelor degree or higher.
6 to 8 years of experience in VPN technology and CCNA and Pulse Secure certified.
6 to8 years of information security applications and systems experience
6 to 8 years of Windows OS administration and change management experience
6 to 8 years of experience writing technical design, build, configuration and publication documentation
Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
Strong time management skills with ability to participate in multiple projects/work streams simultaneously.
Complete projects and tasks in a timely basis, according to commitments made to stake holders and management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including technical writing skills.
Strong documentation skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, update and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in log monitoring through Splunk
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Solid understanding of agile software development lifecycle and JIRA.
Analytical thinker who is able to solve problems.
ITIL V3 certified, Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Splunk Core Certified Power User.
Experience in RSA and load balance infrastructure (server, client/end user) troubleshooting
