As a 'Supervisor', you will lead a team of seniors, and juniors handling the day-to-day administration and fund accounting for a diverse range of alternative fund structures (including Private Equity, Real Estate, Debt and Infrastructure), provide leadership within the team and be an active client facing contact.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Manage and oversee the update of general ledges and trail balances for a portfolio of international clients, utilising IFRS, LuxGAAP and USGAAP
Review fund NAV calculations, ensuring that accruals and fees are booked and calculated
Prepare and oversee financial statements
Manage various tax requirements, including VAT, and CIT, working closely with the tax team
Produce regulatory reporting to the BCL and CSSF
Ensure that all client SLAs and requirements and successful adhered too
Ensure all client queries are proactively managed and resolved
Act as point of escalation for all fund accounting issues
Work closely with the Fund Accounting Manager on all projects relating to the team
Ensure all processes and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in fund accounting, including managing staff for 2+ years
Have a University degree in Accounting, Business or Economics
Fluent English, and strong communication skills both within your team, clients, and with management
Have experience in alternative fund structures (PE, RE, Debt and Infrastructure)
Working knowledge of LuxGAAP and IFRS
A positive approach to leadership, with a real desire to improve your team
