Our client has an immediate need for an Agile Business Systems Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of new products, high-value extensions, and enhancements for the Duquesne Light Automation COE
5+ years of experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Advanced Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM project framework methodologies
Background in Software Automation Technologies( RPA, BI, ML, ) preferred
PMI, CSM, Agile Certifications preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/behavior to stakeholders including Customers, Product Management, Support Services, Development, and Communications.
Reinforce the Agile adoption process.
Work towards advancing Duquesne Light’s maturity with the Agile framework.
Reporting and progress management.
Monitor and identify impediments to release objectives and suggest corrective actions.
Use case development, analysis, and delivery leadership in support of multiple backlogs and work streams for DLC Automation COE.
Translate product directives into backlog items, effectively representing customer needs.
Serve as the primary source of external information for the Scrum teams, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer, and functional/non-functional requirements framing the scope of the capability – independent of implementation.
Play a leadership role in the Scrum team to ensure that capabilities are in-scope, on-time, and of high quality, directing or participating in all team ceremonies including standups, planning, review and retrospectives.
Author, refine and approve backlog items, with clearly articulated acceptance criteria.
Manage backlog contents and priority, ensuring sufficient depth of groomed items for development consumption and commitment.
Document intended product behavior and user experience in sufficient detail for downstream activities.
Work closely with development on implementation issues.
Review QA test plans to align with acceptance criteria.
Review relevant documentation for technical accuracy.
