The University Library is looking for a qualified individual to support activities in the University Archives. We currently are seeking candidates with expertise in academic archives and experience with instruction, oral history, and digital transfer of different media types to apply.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: responding to reference requests from students and faculty, supporting instruction in the University Archives, arrangement and description of incoming collection materials, digital transfer of analog collection materials, metadata creation and supporting open hours in the University Archives Reading Room.
Perform related duties as required.
We invite qualified individuals with a Master's Degree in a relevant content area to apply.
Two years archival experience is preferred.
Additional qualifications specific to the area of assignment may be desirable.
