In order to be successful in our fundraising goals, we have to work with the right people. That’s where you will come in. As an IT Analyst, you will collaborate with peers in the IT department, provide IT support across the organization and utilize your expertise to ensure system security for the organization. You will play a vital role in our strategic process, actively moving the foundation – and the university – to new heights.
Assist with support for computer hardware, software, and cloud services used by foundation staff and campus partners, perform upgrades as needed. Besides computers and printers, this includes mobile phones, desk phones, soft phones and related services.
Collaborate with vendors for IT hardware and software support, verify the accuracy of licensing, products, and services.
Administer accounts for Active Directory, digital asset management, email, and SharePoint.
Monitor IT systems to ensure system uptime and notify IT management and vendors to correct errors and abnormalities. Provide rotational on-call support after-hours and on weekends.
Design and execute software patching strategies that minimize user disruption while effectively updating systems. Participate in security assessments and assist with remediation efforts to protect digital assets.
Participate in IT special projects and initiatives as assigned by project leader.
Recommend solutions to enhance the systems and infrastructure of the organization.
Provide research support for new technologies.
Education & Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences; MIS; or other related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience with computer hardware, software, printers and mobile devices.
