Market Job Description
Use of this job is restricted to the Ent Info Tech business line. Manages a large, high level technical area or a large-scale new development with direct impact to organization-wide objectives. Establishes operational objectives and assignments and delegates assignments to direct report managers. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have a company wide impact. Works on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. Manages through direct report managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods and employees. May also manage high-level exempt staff. (In some instances manager may be responsible for managing staff function and may not have direct report managers). Ensures budget meets operational requirements.
Detailed Job requirements:
Approx. 15+ years of experience, of which at least 5 years in technology leadership roles.
Minimum 3 years of experience in leading technology teams supporting Marketing capabilities including digital/personalized marketing.
Demonstrable success in creating and driving effective technology teams in global business environments.
Delivers high-quality, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technology.
Experience in leading strong engineering teams with Agile.
Well verse in developing applications leveraging Microsoft Stack, UI Technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery), Web Services, Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement with engineering focus.
Analyze marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization. Researches future technologies that could be used to improve and optimize marketing team performance
Possess very good understanding on latest tech trends like Data analytics, AI/ML that helps to build and enhance digital marketing capabilities including personalized marketing.
Act as a technical and change advocate – promoting use of technology and assessing landscape for continuous improvement
Take ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILE
Ability to decide and act without having the big picture and comfortable handling risk and uncertainty
Manages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and guidance, and helping them achieve their goals through effective development and training plans
Ability to effectively communicate with and manage project stakeholders across multiple levels.
Ability to establish executive level relationships across the various business and technology organizations.
Ability to make difficult decisions balancing business requirements, project timelines / budgets, and product and technology roadmaps and architectural designs.
