The EBT Platform Management team is responsible for providing technology solutions for the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization. This includes providing Application Availability, Platform Engineering, and IT Service Management services for a diverse portfolio of 750+ applications.
The candidate will manage a team of 15 to 20 production support engineers providing L1 & L2 production support services for approx 15 Tier 1 Critical applications and be responsible for service operations SLAs defined for these applications. We are seeking a Technology Manager who can oversee the overall functions of Application covering various functional areas not limiting to Change Management, Release Management & Release implementation co-ordination, Incident & Problem Management, Vulnerability Management, Audit/Risks, Safety & Soundness, TREX/ETR Initiatives etc.
Lead and manage a team of Production Support Engineers and be responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 application support activities for groups of related applications in different technology areas.
Responsible for definition and implementation of prod support processes such as incident management, problem management, change management, release management, service improvement etc...
Own resolution of production incidents and Act as a coordinator and point of escalation for support staff during incident / problem recovery activities
Review all daily activities and ensure completion of shift duties for each team and proper handover
Consolidate report and analyze appropriate metrics to improve service
Identify areas of process improvement
Ensure proper guidance, training and mentoring are given to new staff
Act as the Incident Manager and own the process of daily production support and incidents management.
To ensure full compliance to operational standards, procedures and best practices
Closely work with the Technology Leads, Application Architects for the safety and soundness of the assigned applications work on delivering Proof of Concepts, generate ideas for Continuous Process Improvements
Responsible for developing people and manage Talent effectively

Market Skills and Certifications
Minimum 15+ years' in application development and maintenance with at least 5 years' in project management
At least 5 years of experience in managing application support of mission critical applications in the retail banking domain regionally or globally on a 16x7 basis
Preferably prior experience in banking/financial sector and have supported at least 20 Applications
Experience in supporting applications / platforms handling large volume data and transaction for major financial institutions
Able to define service level metrics for each application supported and ensure adherence
Ability to work with various audiences and communicate effectively
Resourceful and able to work under tight deadliness
Willing to work in shifts as and when required to ensure the support activities done in different shifts are delivered well
Aware of ITIL processes and experience of implementing processes and procedures as per ITIL recommendations
Expertise in configuring and implementing the use of incident and change management tools like Remedy * Have proven expertise in continuous improvement and an eye for automation wherever possible. * Facilitate the optimal leverage of CI / CD tools and foster dev ops culture
Required Skills - Windows & Linux Platforms Application Support - Tomcat, Apache, Websphere, IIS Administration - Shell Scripting or any other scripting languages like Perl, Ruby, ANT etc., - DevOps tools like AHP, Jenkins, GIT, uDeploy etc., - Debugging, trouble shooting skills - Excellent Communication skills handling incident management calls, meetings, articulating technical issues to management and partners while solving problems - Independent problem solver with Good Analytical Skills and adaptable to new, challenging technical and process requirements - Knowledge and working experience of monitoring tools - Splunk, AppD, Introscope, etc, - Knowledge and working experience of automation tools - HPOO, Puppet, Ansible etc.
