Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, are seeking multiple Senior Program Administrators Supervisor for The Institute for Families at the Rutgers School of Social Work. These positions report to the IFF’s Learning & Development Manager. The positions serve programs throughout IFF’s portfolio, but largely focuses on supporting the New Jersey Child Welfare Training Partnership (NJCWTP) and Grow NJ Kids Training Services (GNJKTS). The Senior Program Administrator Supervisors are responsible for overseeing curriculum and learning products for both classroom- and web-based instruction.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Oversees a professional staff of full-time designers and provide work direction to consultants and/or student assistants who support the development process.
Ensures adherence to identified instructional design/development processes and templates, building and supporting strong relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders, and improving the quality of the learning experience through data analysis, action mapping, and innovative learning products.
Designs/develops content for job aids, informational documentation, and marketing collateral.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years experience working within programs that provide education to adult learners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Advanced computer literacy.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a fast-paced team.
Strong manager of people, effective communicator, efficient project manager, and have a solid understanding of instructional technology methods and tools.
Ability to be detail oriented while independently managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and assignments.
Significant experience in the creation and production of educational products for adult learners.
Experience designing for innovative instruction delivered through classroom and eLearning platforms.
Proficiency in one or more eLearning authoring tools—preferably Articulate Storyline.
Ability to design or develop learning objects that are compatible with specifications of learning management systems (e.g., Canvas and Moodle).
Ability to support focus groups and presentatiom of instructional materials to team members and stakeholders, to effectively communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience, and establish cooperative working relationships with staff, clients, and SMEs.
Comfortable exploring and using additional instructional technology programs and apps.
Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver's license would be required for this position.
Experience on a large-scale workforce development project is desired.
Experience working with human service professionals and multiple organizational partners and stakeholders is desired.
Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Teams.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
General office environment including light lifting and document preparation.
Travel to program sites and state offices throughout New Jersey is required.
