Nemours is seeking a Senior Application Engineer (Web Solutions) Full-Time, to join our team in either Wilmington, Delaware, Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Application Engineer is to lead solution design and implementation for the creation and migration of websites and associated technical capabilities developed on the Adobe Experience Manager CMS platform that support the business and clinical needs of the organization. The Senior Application Engineer will follow the approved process of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation). They should have a deep understanding of how to configure AEM, as well as how to use OSGi layer, and have the ability to integrate into other marketing and IT systems.
This role will operate as an AEM subject matter expert and take ownership of defining end-to-end architecture for the CMS platform, infrastructure, release management and provide technology and thought leadership. They have the responsibility for delivering on the most challenging technical tasks, either hands-on or through guidance to developers through system setup, development approach, code reviews, and knowledge transfer.
This position can be located in Wilmington, Delaware, Jacksonville, Florida, OR Orlando, Florida.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical details relevant to AEM.
Setup and configure AEM development environments and author/publish instances, while ensuring code if functional in all environments.
Design and develop AEM 6.4 templates, custom components, workflows and integration with Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Establish code management processes for efficiency, readability and reuse.
Participate in code review process.
Write and execute automated tests including unit-tests. Assist the team move toward a TDD (test driven development) process.
Develop software design and technical specification documentation.
Participate in deployments to ensure quality execution on projects.
Provide senior-level engineering support as development lead.
Report project status to supervisor.
Stay current on new technologies.
Ability to collaborate with the entire team and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.

Provide on-call off hours support daily or on weekends as required.

A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent on-the-job experience may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree.
A minimum of 5+ years of leading complex Adobe Experience Manager implementation projects from design (architecture) through implementation and delivery during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
