Develops, recommends and administers Business Continuity management programs in order to maintain maximum protection of the organization's processes and patient care at the most economical rates. Reviews and analyzes data and risk minimization programs. Ensures compliance with safety legislation, industry practices and market requirements involving Business Continuity .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project manages Business Continuity Planning Lifecycle.
Fulfills Internal and External Audit Requests.
Partners with client IT/DR and Emergency Management teams.
Monitors and reports on Business Continuity program metrics.
Supports the development of standard Business Continuity metrics and techniques.
Supports Business Continuity framework training across organization and manages Business Continuity processes.
Follows established processes in engaging and scheduling with business partners.
Conducts Business Continuity plan analysis, report creation and coordination, and researches best practices in BC management activities as needed.
Teams with Managing Director to liaise and communicate with functional business groups regarding Business Continuity risks and opportunities presented to the organization.
Updates and maintains standard BC terminology and measurement criteria across organization.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 7+ years experience in risk management.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
