Our Transmission Engineer department is growing - by two! We need two highly organized and detail oriented project managers to help Sunflower manage the ongoing transmission projects to ensure these large-scale projects remain on track and within scope.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the project management of transmission projects including transmission lines, substation and joint participation projects.
Develop and improve the project management processes for the Transmission Engineering department.
Work with Members and other external staff on the organization of projects.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, construction, or related technical field along with 7 years of electric utility experience with proven ability to manage projects and coordinate teams of professionals; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 4 years should include project management activities with high voltage transmission construction.
Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other project management software applications.
Advanced knowledge of interconnected power transmission systems and electric utility industry standards, practices and regulations.
