To provide support in administering, maintaining, and managing College of Nursing and Health Innovation website(s), in partnership with responsible faculty, staff, and administrators, utilizing central university resources and platforms. To be a communications resource for the College, assisting with internal and external communications. To provide communications support to College faculty, staff, and administrators, including support with software and services related to communication and media. To function as part of the College media team, and as a whole provides media resources and services to the College.
Administer, maintain, and manage College of Nursing and Health Innovation website(s). This is done in partnership with College content owners and content experts, writing, co-writing, editing, reviewing, and updating website content and advising stakeholders of best practices to maintain and improve the College's web presence for marketing and operational purposes. University-provided platforms and resources will be used to implement College and constituent unit website(s). Assist with internal and external College communications, including social media, and utilizing University-approved platforms and services for communication. Provide communication and media support to College faculty, staff, and administrators, including assistance with software and services related to communication and media, such as PowerPoint and Adobe suite. Inform College faculty, staff, and administrators of policies and guidelines related to communications, and assist as appropriate to improve compliance. Provide media resources and services to the College, including supporting and directly assisting other College Media Team members and to support events as needed. Back up for CONHI Support. Configure and install desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices. Configure, install printers, creates print queues, software support. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a communication related field such as digital media or communication technology. Six (6) months of experience in a communications role with a web content emphasis or the equivalent experience. Knowledge of and/or experience with systems and technologies used on the web, such as content management systems.
Bachelor's degree in a communications related field such as digital media or communication technology and 6 months of experience as webmaster or web contributor in an academic environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of and/or experience with Sitecore, Cascade, and WordPress content management systems. Knowledge of and/or experience with Google Analytics and SiteImprove. Training and/or teaching experience in the use of communications and media resources, including computer-based tools and software. Familiarity with concepts of photography, videography, and graphic design. Excellent communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
