DVM

     Lavista Animal Hospital is a small animal hospital located within minutes of Atlanta.  We have been in business since 1976 and have an established relationship with our devoted clientele.  Our staff is well-trained and works directly with our veterinarians to alleviate some of the busy workload.  Our progressive hospital offers convenient and advanced diagnostics such as digital radiography, in house lab work, dental radiography, gastroscopy, and  ultrasonography. We offer services such as soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, laser therapy treatment, dentals, and bathing.  

     We are a growing 3 doctor practice that allots 15 to 30 minute appointment slots for patients, but we do see walk-ins that are worked into the regular appointment schedule.   Our hospital is open five and a half days per week. Our hours are Monday through Friday eight to six and Saturdays eight to twelve, with walk-ins ending at eleven on Saturdays.  All after hours emergencies are referred to nearby emergency hospitals, and there are several within close proximity to our facility. There are no on call after hours requirements, but patients can be seen after hours at a veterinarian’s discretion. 

     We are looking for either someone interested in full-time or part-time.  If full-time, the hours desired would be 40 to 50 hours per week, with rotating Saturdays. Salary would include paid AVMA dues, GA license dues, AVMA liability dues, paid continuing education, and monthly allotted stipends towards healthcare coverage.
