The Asset Manager provides leadership, direction, and focus for all manufacturing, asset and maintenance strategies and investments.
Asset Manager - (2000669) - Charlotte, NC
You will have a broad range of leadership activities which include creation and execution of the EDN manufacturing and asset strategy, site development strategies, management of projects, management/execution of the 5-year capital budget, coordinate the maintenance improvement plan for the ED sites in NA. You will be a member of the EDN Operations Leadership Team and will interact with all EDN functions as well as enable functions/organizations across BASF in fulfilling the mission of the business and sites, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving operational excellence.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Continue to develop and execute the EDN Manufacturing and Asset strategy including management of the EDN 5-Year capital via coordination with our 11 manufacturing sites, EDN's commercial team, and global technical and controlling team members.
Lead capital budget management and execution including advisement and coordination of key capital projects, steering team member for all strategic projects. You will also facilitate project status updates and closures between manufacturing sites, BU, Regional Engineering, Controlling, and Regional/Global Technology groups.
Drive a culture where continuous improvement, breakthrough performance, and an enjoyable work environment are expectations of all team members.
Identify and manage operational risks including EHS, regulatory, quality, cost, equipment optimization, and reliability.
Coordinate Maintenance and Reliability Strategy for N-EDN, providing guidance and technical support to ED sites, developing strategy and supporting the implementation of improvement plans, ensuring a reliable operation.
Develop and implement manufacturing and asset strategies to ensure assets are aligned with business strategies; that ensure technology transfers are issue-free; as well as provide for reliable and flexible product availability while maximizing asset utilization.
Coordinate OAE and capacity development plans.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You...
You will have a broad and varied background in manufacturing, business, and capital project management.
BS degree + 10 years of overall experience. A technical degree is highly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and change management including peer influencing.
Developed organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Highly motivated and works independently with general supervision.
Effective and clear communication.
Experience in all aspects of capital project management including Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Scoping, Safety Reviews, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
Experience with asset reliability and maintenance strategy.
Working knowledge of SAP.
