San Ramon Regional Medical Center began serving residents of the San Ramon Valley and its surrounding communities in 1990. Located on a hillside overlooking the valley, we are a 123-bed, acute-care hospital, primary stroke center, and a cardiac heart surgery hospital. Principle duties consists of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional studies such as: both coronary and peripheral angiograms, PCIï¿½s (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), Carotid Stenting, Permanent Pacemaker/AICD insertion, and PTAï¿½s (Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty). Assist with Arterial Sheath removal and deployment of closure devices. These studies involve operation of radiographic units that combine single-plane cinematography/digital data acquisition, with TV-monitored fluorography, programmed and coordinated with automatic high-pressure contrast media injections system.
Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma
Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma
Completion of two (2) year approved Radiologic Technician program
Two (2) years recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred
Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment:
State of California Certificate as a Certified Radiologic Technologist and Radiological Technologist
Current State of California Fluoroscopy License
Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (AHA certified)
Current ACLS certification (AHA certified)
