The Value Based Services Organization (VBSO) will support Keckâs ability to optimize future value; Quality plus Service over Cost translates into Value for healthcare. Â The VBSO will deploy programmatic governance, change management services, organizational cultural alignment, communication management, leadership, and value transformation efforts to the Keck Health System.Â This position supports the VBSO clinical operations, an internal department of Keck Medicine of USC.Â In addition, the position supports achieving VBSO Goals/ Objectives through excellent teamwork and communication.Â This position will facilitate three key focus areas in clinical operations:Â Implementation (PM), (Analytics), and (Systems). Support implementation of clinical programs (PM); responsible for ensuring the VBSO departmentâs portfolio of projects/ programs are delivered within scope, by due date, budget, and adhere to standards set by leaders. This includes reporting on progress, health, risk and remediation plans. Support analytical needs, including dashboards, reports, databases and tools (Analytics); create/ review key VBSO departmental reports to identify improvement opportunities to meet Goals/ Objectives. Support clinical systems and applications, including administrator role and activities; responsible for coordination of all aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems for the VBSO.Â This includes clinical and operational reports aligning with Goals.

Minimum Education:Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field requiredMasterâs degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, MS, etc.) &/or Advanced clinical degree (RN or NP) preferredAdvanced degree in Project Management preferredMinimum Experience/Knowledge:Technical:â¢Minimum five (5) years clinical programs and systems implementation in managed care environmentâ¢At least three (3) years of process improvement efforts to improve clinical, operational, financial performance in managed care organization(s)â¢Minimum five (5) in portfolio, program, and project managementâ¢Ability to manage and analyze portfolio of complex projects/ programs to meet Goals/ objectives while maintaining scope (preferably below budget and ahead of schedule)â¢Project Management Professional (PMP) desired; additional Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and/ or Program Management Professional (PgMP) also desirable but not requiredâ¢Proficient Analytics and Systems skillsâ¢Proficient PC skills: Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and statistical software programs. Knowledge of business (operational, clinical, and financial) statistics and data analyses techniques. Ability to manage and analyze data; strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.â¢Proficiency in: MSOffice Suite (including Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Tableau. EHR (Cerner highly desired; Epic experience acceptable) experience is a plus. Webpage content development &/or maintenance experience is a plus.
