Responsible for technical and administrative support for asset management initiatives, processes, information development, and database maintenance. Monitors, captures, and develops asset management information to support efficient and effective asset management activities.

Manages and reviews assigned work. Effectively applies organizational policies and procedures in work products and ensures deliverables meet the needs of the organization.
Participates in the development, maintenance and monitoring of electronic databases and industry related software for use in asset information tracking to proactively identify inefficiencies. Provides analysis and reports to KCAB staff, government agencies and contractors.
Works with the Assistant Asset Manager and Director of Planning to develop alternative solutions, timelines, resource requirements, identify costs required to maintain, refurbish, or replace assets (or a combination thereof), and identify recommendations to assist in the KCAB leadership decision process.
Works with various KCAB departments to obtain pertinent asset information, and when needed conducts field investigations to collect asset information, locations, and documentation.
Inputs information into relational databases. Updates information and maintains data files. Monitors asset performances, contracts, invoices and asset dispositions.
Audits energy bills and general spreadsheets to illustrate monthly asset and infrastructure usage, costs, performance, etc.
Provides assistance to maintenance department in planning and scheduling preventative maintenance activities for KCAB assets.
Works with KCAB Departments to manage KCAB Warranty Process for all asset under existing warranty periods.
Gathers asset data in the field, in existing data sets, and develops informed assumptions to prepare reports to assist KCAB Leadership in the decision process.
Assists in identifying process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and overall evaluation of Asset Management Program performance.
Assists in the preparation of draft motions, justifications and reports for Board meetings.
Assists in RFP development process related to information input, assists with contract management, invoice processing and tracking.
Participate in asset management activities review meetings, provides input on improvements of procedures and processes, and actively addresses action items developed through asset management coordination activities.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field to the area of assignment or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
Obtain and maintain position appropriate NIMS & emergency training.
Valid driver’s license.
Maintains Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance.
Airport operations, policies and procedures;
Facility and asset management;
Project management and scheduling
Clearly and effectively communicating, both orally and in writing;
Use of a variety of computer-based technologies including word processing, and spreadsheets;
Establishing and maintaining effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups.
ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: standing, walking, typing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
