The Assistant Director of Graduate Business Programs for the Argyros School of Business and Economics is responsible for the recruiting, matriculation, academic advising, and program management of the Professional MBA program. The position responsibilities include the recruitment of domestic and international students as well as related joint and international programs. The Assistant Director will proactively seek out prospective Professional MBA candidates and represent the school at MBA recruitment fairs and events. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of specialized sales, preferably in the professional recruitment or higher education sectors. We are Looking for an individual who is a self-starter, motivated, relationship-driven, strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess specialized and relationship-based sales and recruiting experience with a proven track record of achieving goals.
Have a working knowledge of student career and academic advising principles, methods, and procedures.
Experience working with digital recruitment and marketing tools while developing strategies.
Experience developing, implementing, and using CRM systems.
Able to create, plan, and achieve short and long-range goals.
Able to quickly understand/interpret and apply guidelines and procedures consistently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate data, assess alternatives, and make appropriate decisions/recommendations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written; especially for presentations.
Demonstrates tact and diplomacy, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Motivated to work independently but able to thrive and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Experienced working in a professional environment with Microsoft Office.
Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience with higher education recruitment and admission; preferably for MBA programs.
Ability to supervise and manage student employees or volunteers.
