Perform endodontic treatment using rotary and/or hand instruments, including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures.
Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition affecting the patient, utilizing x-rays, dental instruments and other diagnostic procedures.
Adheres to safety protocols and processes including but not limited to ensuring protective equipment is utilized and OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements are followed.
Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine office meetings.
All other duties and responsibilities allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.

Brand new beautiful office. Endodontists work in areas that are highly visible and designed and furnished to make a good impression. Work stations are clean, well-lighted, and relatively quiet. Work is sedentary in nature. Solid referral based practice with experienced staff, five spacious treatment rooms, Digital Radiography, Zeiss Microscopes and CBCT.
Intercoastal Endo is located in the heart of Grand Strand. Myrtle Beach is known for 60 mile strong of beaches, celebrity-designed golf courses, and family vacation spots.
DDS or DMD degree, licensed in state in which practicing or have the ability to obtain licensure upon graduation.
Completion of an endodontic residency program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.

Dr. Mark Conard received an undergraduate degree in microbiology from Clemson University before attending MUSC’s dental program, graduating in 2009. He worked for one year in general dentistry before pursuing an Endodontic degree from Ohio State University, graduating in 2012. After working as an Endodontist for two years in the Charlotte area, Dr. Conard jumped at the opportunity to move back to the South Carolina coast. Since moving to the area in 2014, he is excited to build a reputation as a leading Endodontic practice in Mrytle Beach and its surrounding communities.
