About the Opportunity: The Assistant Director of Enrollment Services will serve as an integral member of the greater Enrollment Management team by performing admissions-related functions central to the Enrollment Services department.
Serving under the Associate Director of Enrollment Quality Assurance, this candidate will work closely with the Senior Assistant Directors of Enrollment Services to perform central admissions-related functions.
Reviews applications and renders admissions decisions for bachelors, masters, and doctoral applications for the College of Professional Studies.
Ensures prospective student admissions questions are addressed effectively, efficiently, and accurately.
Manage applicant pipeline for the Global Pathways international student audience.
Works closely with the Enrollment services and Enrollment coaching teams to ensure that accurate information about programs, intakes, application requirements, and key features is communicated.
Assists in hosting and directing on-campus admissions events.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
2-5 years' experience working in higher education, sales, customer service, or project management.
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, managerial, problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong background in managing detail-oriented complex tasks.
Ability to work well independently as well as with teams of colleagues.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and balance responsibilities.
The candidate must be proficient in working with various databases and office applications such as the Microsoft Office suite and managing reports within a CRM system; prior experience with the Salesforce.com platform is a plus.
Individual must be willing to work in a fast-paced metrics-driven environment.
The individual in this position must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including occasional nights and weekends, and willing to travel if necessary.
Master's degree preferred.
A background in account management with a focus on driving projects and/or campaigns to successful completion.
Prior experience supporting adult learners is desired.
Salary Grade: 10
