The Director of Capital Project Management is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Summer intern in the Office of Capital Project Management (CPM) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). The individual will work under the Director and support the CPM team.
The temporary support intern will learn various capital management activities and will be responsible to provide project management, technical and administrative support functions including filing, general administrative functions, scheduling, drafting, surveying, document coordination, and other support functions identified by the Director. These duties will include direct interface with CPM staff.

Position requires a high school degree and some experience working under direction of a Supervisor.
Currently enrolled in a degree program in the field of engineering, architecture, and/or construction management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be dependable.
An eagerness to learn and have a strong curiosity
Must be available to work through May to August, Monday to Fridays.
