Advertised Job Summary:
Under general supervision provides operational management and tier II/III technical support of Collaborative Technology systems. Collaborative Technology includes Video Conferencing, Digital Signage, and Lecture Capture systems. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex network, database, and/or infrastructure issues related to Collaborative systems. Provides preventative action recommendations and assists in finding solutions to recurring problems. Provides technical advice to senior level management concerning Collaborative Technology systems. May document information for Collaborative systems, changes, and procedures. Designs configurations and installs hardware. Performs planning, design and evaluations relative to Collaborative Technology systems and operations layouts. Maintains records of equipment and replacement plan. Serves as user contact for problems with automation system; follows through with solutions to problems; trains users and staff. Conducts interviews to determine user needs. Meets with vendors to discuss and evaluate hardware and software. Trains users in the proper utilization of hardware and software. Provide high level information and/or Collaborative systems monitoring, problem analysis, tracking, and resolution. Documents information related to Collaborative systems outages, changes, and procedures.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems or related field and 5 years related work experience or high school diploma and 9 years related work experience; or equivalency
