We have two Salesforce specific job openings for two teams based onsite at the George Mason Fairfax Campus!
Salesforce Developer/Analyst The Salesforce Developer/Analyst will be a key member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team.
Responsibilities: Performing analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of CRM software and other related application systems within Salesforce and related platforms such as Heroku and their integration with other enterprise systems. Assisting in governance, project management activities, and other assigned tasks.
Nice to have: Understanding of encryption methods and procedures, understanding/experience with Salesforce connected app architecture and best practices
Required to be hired: Significant demonstrated experience as a Salesforce developer and/or administrator in projects related to CRM application development and integration. Hands on experience with Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, JQuery, CSS, XML, JSON. Experience/Exposure to working with Higher Ed. enterprise systems such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Workday, etc. -Exposure to one or more of the following languages/tools/technologies: C#.Net/Razor, PHP, XML, CSS, JQuery, ASP.Net, SQL Server, MySQL, Wordpress, Drupal, and other CMS platforms. Experience/exposure in creating and consuming REST/SOAP/JSON web services.
Salesforce Administrator-Technical The Salesforce Administrator-Technical will be a key member of the Information Technology Services (ITS)- Enterprise Applications Support & Development team.
Responsibilities: Providing front line technical administration and support of Salesforce including: support of daily operations & change management, configuration changes, reporting, training, QA Testing, troubleshooting, and working with stake holders.
Nice to haves: Demonstrated experience as Salesforce Admin (2-4 years+ preferred). SFDC Administrator Certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
Must haves: deep technical understanding of the Salesforce platform, its capabilities and recommendations regarding the ongoing Salesforce deployment.
Required to be hired: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required, Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Experience w/ Demand Tools and/or Apex Data Loader. Informatica Cloud (or equivalent ETL tool). Salesforce Lightning Connector and relational databases.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
