Designs, develops, coordinates, implements, facilitates and assesses a comprehensive and cohesive array of leadership development opportunities for students across campus, including trainings, workshops and programs such as:
Leadership Development Certificate Program (annual co-curricular certificate series)
University-wide student leader cross-training and assessment (800+ student leaders)
Awards and recognition programs (Professing Excellence, Distinguished Leadership, Carpe Diem)
Recruits, hires, trains, supervises, schedules and evaluates large cadres of graduate and undergraduate student leaders (employees and volunteers) involved in the planning and implementation of programs
Advises the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) student chapter and provides programming/supports all student organizations in developing their members as leaders.
Attends weekly Student Government Association (SGA) meetings in rotation with department staff.
Develops and implements overall communication/integrated marketing plan and produces all publications for student leadership development programs and activities. Identifies opportunities for applied leadership development and develops resource materials for students to connect with these opportunities.
Develops and implements appropriate budgets for activities
Provides training and serves as a liaison/resource for faculty and staff in leveraging student work and volunteer experiences to maximize student growth and development as leaders. Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with faculty/academic departments.
Assesses needs and incorporates findings into program and service delivery models; evaluates the efficacy of all programs.
Maintains integrity and appropriate confidentiality in program operations
Represents the department at University programs and events
Performs other duties as assigned.

Graduation from an accredited college or University with a Bachelor's Degree supplemented by a Master's degree or an equivalency as determined by the hiring authority
Three or more years of professional experience in leadership development and programming or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to cooperatively work with students, faculty, alumni, and other members of the campus community
Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Experience hiring, training, supervising and evaluating college students
Experience in planning and developing large scale conferences and programs
