Collaborates with Operations Management to establish and maintain policies that protect employees and company assets. Performs a variety of administrative tasks including documenting activities, developing policies which are consistent with security best practices, and conduct investigations. Responsible for the security of multiple facilities operating on several shifts. Manages 3rd party security officer services, ensures appropriate coverage, maintains alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for Security Officers and Security systems in all Pennsylvania Estée Lauder facilities, including liaison with outside security service providers and responding to alarms and emergencies.
Manage and provide direction to the 2nd shift ELC Security Manager to ensure that priorities are aligned with the vision and strategic principles of the security program.
Maintains CTPAT - Level 3 security program.
Responsible for vendor and project management for access control, CCTV and related security equipment. Review of all security related invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
Proactively seeks opportunities to promote an environment which encourages the development and implementation of “security best practices.” Ensures consistency in maintaining security polices across all locations.
Build collaborative relationships with all our business partners to gain commitment, agreement, and support of the security program.
Demonstrates the ability to anticipate change, identify security risks and recommends mitigation methods which support security requirements and business needs.
Develop strategic security plans for company special events to control access and protect employees. Provides security for Employee Sales, Warehouse Sales and "plant openings" outside of regular work hours.
Conduct / manage confidential investigations as required and makes recommendations for preventive or remedial actions. Assist other Global Security Teams as required. Conducts audits of 3rd Party manufacturing, production, and distribution facilities.
Coordinates the witnessed destruction of company products classified as DAV/NCR.
Actively build effective relationships with law enforcement agencies / private security counterparts.
Conducts / manages various security related training for all employees.
Travels between facilities and other affiliates.
Bachelor's degree required
Professional certification a plus i.e. CPP, CFE
Commitment to excellence and teamwork
10 years law enforcement / corporate security in supervisory / management role
Supply Chain Security Experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills / ability to prepare and conduct presentations
Significant investigative experience preferred
Working knowledge of security systems
Project management skills
Demonstrated proficiency in all MS computer programs
Available for off-shift, nights and weekends as needed
