Working at the direction of the Associate Vice President for Communications, the Social Media Director will lead the direction and development of content strategy for the University of Virginiaâ™s institutional social media presence. Partnering with members of University Communicationsâ™ Content & News, Digital and Marketing teams, the successful candidate will build and execute strategies for the effective use of UVAâ™s social channels to advance the reach of the Universityâ™s mission and to elevate awareness of the institutionâ™s vibrant sense of community and its latest news and achievements. The position requires an experienced thinker with the ability to drive measurable results and manage multiple projects in a complex environment.
