Essential Functions:
This role will be part of a team developing and deploying our client's IIOT platforms, analytic and machine learning applications, and augmented reality experiences. Our software engineers will use the ThingWorx IIOT foundation for our services that will be deployed using standard apps, customized solutions, and extended with additional FactoryTalk InnovationSuite technologies.
Technical Analyst: This role will focus on supporting all disciplines of the Analytics Solutions Group (IIOT, Advanced Analytics, and Augmented Reality) through the installation and management of internal environments for purposes of training, evaluation, customer demonstration and pilots. In addition, this role will develop standardized installation procedures and execute client software installations for FactoryTalk InnovationSuite implementations. Related activities include software installation, configuration, network and security integration, database management, and technical support. In addition to technical expertise, the role requires strong collaboration, communication, and administrative skills. Some client travel is expected, but most of the client work will be performed remote from a Rockwell office.
Functional: * Installs, manages and administers all internal FactoryTalk InnovationSuite environments (ThingWorx and FactoryTalk Analytics) to ensure availability for team use in prototypes, customer demos and pilot activities * Develops and maintains installation and support documentation covering internal implementations * Develops and maintains procedures, installation routines and master images for customer installations of FactoryTalk InnovationSuite applications * Coordinates with project team members (client, Project Manager, Architect, Software Engineer) to capture and confirm business requirements related to the client application installation and configuration * Installs and tests FactoryTalk InnovationSuite applications at client sites (on-prem or cloud-based), in conjunction with project team and client resources * Guides and coaches client team on application security management * Understands IT/OT industry-specific applications, particularly around Information Solutions, Analytics and MES.
