Reporting into the head of digital collections and services, the digital archive specialist will perform the following duties:
Manages, with other members of the department, the selection, preparation, and transport of Schlesinger Library materials for reformatting of materials from analog to digital;
Collects data, statistics, and compile reports;
Carries out projects as assigned within the digital collections and services department;
Accessions born digital materials and assists with digital forensics processing;
Participates in special projects being managed by the Digital Collections and Services team;
Embodies the ideal of working in a university by supporting a culture of learning and growth;
Seeks opportunities to continuously learn and build professional skills;
Supports a culture of inclusion and diversity;
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned.

Bachelor's degree or a combination of education, training, and experience;
Three years of related digital archival processing experience;
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills;
Detail-oriented and accurate;
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, and other diverse groups and individuals in a professional manner;
Ability to manage time effectively and productively;
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing needs.
Must show initiative and be able to work independently and efficiently with little direction;
Harvard University experience is a plus.
