Summary: Administers Medical Staff Services information including professional practice evaluation, quality outcomes, data analysis and report development. Evaluates reporting tools, processes, and structures that reflect a changing business and clinical environment. Responsible for all system facilities, including Central Verification Services and Medical Staff Offices.

FTE: 1.0, 80 hours per pay period
Responsibilities: Documents compliance with Joint Commission (JC) standards that require evaluation of credentialed provider clinical practice. Reports improvements through established quality processes. Identifies the need for new analysis and evaluates functionality of existing reports to support credentialing practice, quality monitoring, and regulatory and compliance audits.
Leads problem-solving efforts regarding system limitations, upgrade requirements, and ineffective processes. Partners with IT analysis team to maintain system integrity and manage required updates.
Leads projects to onboard new hospitals for system credentialing and privileges services using workflow analysis, gap analysis and creation of technical workflow and reporting platform to support go-live and subsequent support. Partners with Director to ensure new workflow meets current standards for credentialing.
Tracks issues and monitors resolution. Identifies staff training needs, coordinates training with vendor, develops materials for enhancement of MSO coordinators and instructions for providers. Provides leadership for IT interfacing and collaborative partnership with Epic teams.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Bachelor's of Nursing degree from an accredited Nursing program.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
5 years of clinical nursing or related healthcare experience.
1 year in leadership related database systems and analytic problem-solving, partnering and project management.
Preferred: Master's degree in Healthcare Informatics.
