Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Web Developer. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a full time permanent position. Ideal candidates must have 3+ years of web development experience.
The team is responsible for the corporate website that connects with customers, suppliers, and other systems, providing vital communications with known users and the general public, respectively. The team maintains the environment to ensure continuous operations and actively designs and builds innovative solutions to address business and customer needs. This role will encompass support and development, project management and compliance activities, as well as participation in the management and planning of the infrastructure and operating environments.
Participate in the development, deployment and implementation of new systems, technologies and information solutions
Understand, support and enhance existing systems and technologies
Apply standards, procedures and technologies
Participate as an internal consultant to businesses and various customer groups
Provide accurate information and guidance to help shape strategic direction of the platform
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on existing and proposed functionality
1 year of Web development experience (front-end and back-end) required
3 years of diverse programming experience with 2 or more programming languages is preferred
Experience managing small projects is required
Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business or Math is preferred
