The Talent, Training, and Development Manager for Academic Services and Enrollment Management (ASEM) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is responsible for collaborating with and advising division and unit leadership on developing, coordinating, executing, and assessing recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development, engagement, and leadership activities of all ASEM units and the division as a whole.
This role will work closely with individual unit and team leads to design specific onboarding, engagement, and development plans and activities that address their specific needs spanning technical, operational, management, leadership, office culture, and interprofessional engagement and development. This includes organizing and coordinating internal and external development resources, content expertise, deployment scheduling, learning assessment, and more.
While the manager is not required to be a content expert in the wide diversity of skills and roles across the division, example areas of engagement and development emphases they will support include: technology (CRM, SIS, etc.) business intelligence and analytics, student/customer service, sales and marketing, project management, higher education enrollment management, professional communication, diversity and inclusion, university and division policies, processes and practices.
As a CliftonStrengths based organization, this position will collaborate with division senior leadership on the design and execution of a strengths-based division wide development curriculum and programming. Including, but not limited to new manager development programs, ongoing strengths workshops, incorporating strengths-based approaches to employee engagement, goal setting, professional review processes, and more.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of enrollment management or training experience required. Experience working with enrollment management or related fields. Must have public speaking experience. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills essential. Proven ability to work independently and with little or no supervision or clerical support required. Demonstrated proficiency using office software necessary. Must have experience organizing programs for internal or external clients. Ability to analyze information to make an action plan essential. Must have ability to provide leadership and mentoring to team members. Experience facilitating training and development essential.
Prefer experience with higher education. Experience conducting assessments or programs and delivering feedback to groups or individuals desirable. Prefer experience in data analysis and reporting. Familiar with higher education policies and procedures related to enrollment management helpful. Familiarity with CliftonStrengths, or other professional development assessment and development tools/programs.
Posted Salary: $65,000 minimum
